Be the Light: Choosing alignment when life feels uncertain
Earlier this week, I pulled the oracle card White Witch – Be the Light.
It’s a card about choice, about consciously choosing the light path and about not being pulled into drama, negativity or lower-frequency energy experiences — whether that’s from others, or from our own inner critic.
Pulling these cards always make me reflect, and I truly believe the Universe places these messages in front of us for a reason. There is no need to analyse them too deeply — just simply take whatever we need from them at the time.
Once again I believe this card arrived at a time when I really needed it.

Sitting at a Crossroads
I’ve been at a bit of a crossroads lately.
I’ve poured so much time, love and energy into building my spiritual healing business from the ground up, and I’m incredibly proud of how far it has come in such a short space of time. And yet, financially, I’ve found myself questioning whether I need to bring something else in alongside it for now.
Living with a chronic condition means I have to choose very carefully how I use my energy. I can’t just push through or keep going when I’m depleted — my body simply won’t allow it.
To be honest, this back-and-forth has sent me into a spin over the last few weeks.

The inner critic & playing it safe
One thing I’ve had to be really honest with myself about is how critical and judgemental I can be of myself.
I keep things safe.
I second-guess.
I shy away from the camera or from sharing videos because what if someone says something?
You might recognise this too — holding yourself back, dimming your own light, just in case.
But here’s what I’ve had to remind myself:
I can only control what I do.
I cannot control how others respond.
So why spend precious energy worrying about something I can’t change?
White Witch energy doesn’t hide – we always have a choice.
She doesn’t shrink herself to stay comfortable.
She chooses the light — even when it feels vulnerable.
Stepping Into my power & my truth
This card has reminded me that it’s time to stop holding myself back.
I need to step fully into my own power.
Into my magic.
And to allow my light to be seen — so the people who are meant to find me can.
Because I know they are out there!

Tools to support you when things feel heavy
This week, I’ve been leaning into the practices I know help and support me — not as a quick fix, but as daily nourishment. And if you’re feeling overwhelmed or uncertain, these may help you too.
Mindfulness & Nature
Stepping outside, even briefly, helps bring me back into my body. Nature grounds, regulates and gently reminds us that we’re supported. My favourite is stepping on the grass barefoot!
Box Breathing
A quick and simple way to automatically calm your nervous system:
Inhale for 4
Hold for 4
Exhale for 4
Hold for 4
Repeat a few rounds, then to finish take a long deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly out of your mouth - notice how much calmer you feel.
Allowing Emotions
My mantra and something I firmly believe is that healing isn’t linear. Some days feel expansive and light, others feel wobbly and heavy — and that’s okay. Let yourself feel what’s present, acknowledge those emotions in the body and then gently give thanks and release them back to the universe with love.

A crystal I’ve been working with this week and one of my all-time favourites is Blue Lace Agate🩵.
It’s energetic vibration is deeply calming, it supports the nervous system, and gently encourages honest self-expression and communication — something I know many of us struggle with when fear or self-doubt creeps in.
You can hold it during meditation in your left hand, keep it nearby, or carry it with you as a reminder to speak and live from your truth.
