🌸A Mother’s Blessing Ceremony – A Sacred Circle of Love🌸
Last week, I had the absolute honour of preparing some crystals for a Mother’s Blessing Ceremony being held by the beautiful soul, Victoria Parkes. The moment I was asked to be part of this experience—even in a small way—I knew it was something truly special.
A Mother’s Blessing is such a sacred and heart-centred ceremony. Unlike a baby shower, which is often focused on gifts for the little one, this ritual is about the mother herself—her journey, her strength, her love, and the circle of women who stand with her as she steps into this next chapter of life.
During the ceremony, the mother invites her most cherished sisters, friends, and loved ones to sit in circle with her. Each woman is there not just as a guest, but as part of her sacred support team—to hold space, share blessings, and pour love into her as she prepares for the birth of her baby.
One of the most beautiful rituals within this ceremony is the creation of a dream catcher. Each guest is asked to choose two glass or crystal beads in advance—one for the mother and one for the baby. This is where Nature’s Blossom was honoured to play a role. offered a selection of crystals, each chosen for their unique energies to support this sacred time:
Rose Quartz – the stone of unconditional love, wrapping mother and baby in a cocoon of compassion and gentleness.
Moonstone – deeply connected to the divine feminine, intuition, and the cycles of life, guiding the mother with wisdom through her journey.
Clear Quartz – the master healer, amplifying intentions and carrying prayers of protection into the dream catcher.
Amethyst – bringing calm, peace, and spiritual protection, soothing both mother and child with its serene vibration.
Carnelian – a stone of vitality, creativity, and life force, offering strength, stamina, courage, and grounded energy for birth.
Each crystal was infused with Reiki and placed in a little gift bag to make the offering extra special.
At the ceremony, these beads were lovingly held by each sister in the circle and blessed with prayers of love, protection, and strength. They were then woven into the dream catcher, symbolising the weaving of community, love, and support around both mother and child. Once completed, the dream catcher could be hung above where mother and baby sleep, offering protection, peaceful rest, and the constant reminder that they are held in love.
For me, being able to contribute in this way is such an aligned and soul-nourishing experience. I truly believe that every person who crosses my path on this journey is no coincidence. We are always divinely guided into one another’s lives at the perfect moment, and this was yet another affirmation of that truth.
